Spaying and Neutering Prevent Suffering – Before It Begins

The shelter is already caring for 75 puppies, with new emergencies arriving almost every day. Seven newborn puppies were recently abandoned in a field without their mother. Their eyes were still closed. They now require feeding every three hours, day and night. Their survival depends on the tireless dedication of volunteers.

Behind every number is a vulnerable living being. Many of these heartbreaking situations could be prevented. Spaying and neutering help reduce unwanted litters and uncontrolled reproduction. This relieves overcrowded shelters and prevents more animals from experiencing hunger, illness, abandonment or life on the streets.
