Lucky, caught in a noose

The shy dog had probably been roaming around Rhodes for weeks with a wire snare around his neck until local residents, who were unable to catch the dog on their own, finally informed George.

Lucky had managed to free himself from a rabbit trap, but the wire loop of the trap was buried deep in his neck.

George was finally able to catch the brave dog in a building. The wire was immediately removed at a veterinary clinic, antibiotic therapy was started and Lucky was finally able to start recovering.
